2. Unlimited Ideas
and Notes in a
High-Performance Matrix Database

IdeaMatrix was designed to hold thousands of notes efficiently.

IdeaMatrix uses the REXwireless Matrix database, which was designed by REXwireless specifically for the BlackBerry.

This detailed view offers a quick look at any note.  Spacebar allows quick page-down review, while hot*keys allow a person to quickly advance to the next note in a folder with having to go in / scroll / and out again.

3. Award-Winning Indy*Search Feature

Any application that specializes in random tidbits of information must
be able to quickly find them, even years later.

Indy*Search is an intuitive, free-form search system that is more than
up to the task.

As a person types a search phrase, non-matching notes are eliminated.  Pressing enter at anytime returns the remaining notes.

4. Reminder Alert with Snooze

Any note can have basic reminder alert set.

When the alert is triggered, snoozing the alarm can be accomplished with a simple scroll and click -

required or limited snooze choices here!

5. Screen Aware Hot*Key Shortcuts

Every screen offers
Hot*Keys in the bottom footer that help the BlackBerry professional
become a power user quickly.

Most functions do not require accessing the menu system, speeding
up the user experience.

Suretype keyboard users have most Hot*Keys mapped to the ALT+Letter keys.

Pressing the "H" Hot*Key shows the user the complete list of Hot*Keys in IdeaMatrix.

How Do IdeaMatrix and ToDoMatrix Compliment Each Other?

Because of the user interface similarities, we are often asked why ToDoMatrix and IdeaMatrix are different products.  The key distinction is logical / best use in nature.

People use the applications to hold different stacks of data.  IdeaMatrix is used for important reference information that a person wants to keep into the future.  ToDoMatrix is full of short-term items that are cycled out relatively quickly, if one is getting things done.  Best practice is to keep one's ToDoMatrix lean and uncluttered if he or she hopes to remain laser-focused and productive.

For example, a person might create a folder in IdeaMatrix that is an outline of a project.  Within the folder, he might keep a log of conversations he had, as well as e-mails that were received and send.  When he needs to call someone, he adds a task in ToDoMatrix to remind himself to make the call on Tuesday, but after Tuesday has come and gone, that task can easily be deleted.  There is no reason to keep a lasting record of the hundreds of small urgencies that surround a project, but there is great reason to remember an e-mail that changed contract terms or a pricing quote.

If a person decides to put all the information in one application, it creates issues with finding notes quickly, reviewing and resetting the slate of tasks easily, and staying focused.  We recommend using both applications in concert to stay productive.

"I never used memopad on my Blackberry because finding something later was darn near impossible. The find function only found whole words, and only in the subject line.

That's what makes IdeaMatrix so cool - you can find any note by searching all the text - and the speed of search awesome."

"I had no idea how much I needed a piece of software like IdeaMatrix.
Random notes organizer on your wireless is just not a category most people even think about.

Its now indispensable to me."

"I use IdeaMatrix every day to take notes during phone calls.

Being able to recall exactly the last time I talked to my customer, and better yet "remember" my customer's kid's name within seconds of being on the phone with him is priceless.

I love IdeaMatrix!"

I use it for so many things - all my biz ideas, shopping lists, stock investment ideas, New Year's resolutions... you name it. It has great flexibility."

"I enthusiastically recommend IdeaMatrix.

My desk used to be buried in notes - post-its, loose leaf, booklets, notes on envelopes, notes on airplane napkins, notes on notes.

IdeaMatrix has vacuumed it up and put it on my BlackBerry. AND I CAN FIND whatever I'm looking for when I need it.

Thanks REXguys."
