Must a person use REXdesktop or is it optional?

REXdesktop is optional and intended for users that prefer a full keyboard / PC monitor interface to their data. todoMatrix and ideaMatrix will continue to work well without requiring REXdesktop. REXwireless will continue to offer complimentary Always*Safe web backup for anyone that does not choose the REXdesktop web access option.

Please note that some future features, most notably import / export to and from external programs (and therefore the Microsoft Outlook interface) will work via REXdesktop and will be available only to REXdesktop subscribers. Additionally, REXdesktop subscribers gain the benefit of ongoing software upgrades as long as he or she continues to subscribe.
