Upgrade Procedure for ToDoMatrix

Upgrade REXwireless ToDoMatrix Software

It is important to complete all preparation steps for a trouble-free upgrade that ensures
data safety.

Preparation: (Page 1)

1) Go to ToDoMatrix, check About on the main menu and write down your version number - you
will need this information during the download phase.

2) Go to ToDoMatrix and do [backup to web] successfully, found on the main menu

To ensure backup success, do these four steps:

2.1) Add one new item to your ToDoMatrix.

2.2) Do a [backup to web], watching to make sure it completes.

2.3) Logon to REXdesktop.com and check that the new item indeed is found on the server.

2.4) Logoff of REXdesktop before proceeding.

3) After the backup, return to this page and press continue here (link when on the BlackBerry browser)

***** Important notes for a trouble-free upgrade *****

Read all steps before proceeding:

1) We assume you completed the backup in the preparation phase. If not, go back and
complete it because data structures are changing during this upgrade.

2) Do a [delete database] command when inside ToDoMatrix on your BlackBerry
- [delete database] is found near bottom of the main menu when on the cabinet-folder
screen. (note that deleting the application does NOT relieve the need to do this step)

3) Go to BlackBerry Options / Advanced Option / Applications, find ToDoMatrix and choose Delete on the menu.

4) Reboot the BlackBerry.

5) Come back to the BlackBerry browser and download the new version by clicking below

6) After download, go to BlackBerry Options / Security / Application Permissions,
ToDoMatrix. Edit Permissions, mark all three sections "Allow". Save and Exit.

7) Rejoin as an [existing user] in ToDoMatrix - it will download your data from the
servers - choose Allow / Don't Ask Again when security prompts are presented.

Important note - The new versions are NOT backwards data compatible - do not download an
earlier version number - contact REXwireless customer support for directions if you run
into any issues.

2) Download the new version below. Do not choose the application permissions option
during the initial download.

3) Reboot when prompted.

4) After the BlackBerry boots up, go to BlackBerry Options / Security / Application
Permissions, ToDoMatrix. Edit Permissions, mark all three sections "Allow". Save and
Exit.

5) Enter ToDoMatrix - choose Allow / Don't Ask Again if security prompts are presented.

Important note - The new versions are NOT backwards data compatible - do not download an
earlier version number - contact REXwireless customer support for directions if you run
into any issues.
